• flowing at night!

Greetings! I came across an article that had a phrase that caught my attention! It mentioned that the flow should be significantly reduced at night... since I don't have an extra timer and often can't physically unplug the equipment because I might not be home or go to bed early! The question is how critical is this? Can I leave the flow pump on? Aqua Resun DMS-500PL Pump SunSun JVP-110 - 2.5W, 2000L/h

There are Jebao pumps with automatic switching for the night, but not many people bother with that. I have never reduced the flow at night.

Thank you! I'm just worried about the clowns, as they might not be able to sleep...

Don't take it to heart, they write a lot but not everything is true. How is it at night on the reef in nature? The pumps work around the clock for many years without any concerns. But for example, if they are turned off at night, a snail might get in there, and then when the pump turns back on, it's all over, or it gets stuck, and you're not there, and then overheating happens, and that's it. Don't worry, it soothes them.
