• I need advice!! in the pump repair

  • Ricky9405

The rotor is stuck in the pump!! So much so that it's completely jammed. The pump has been sitting without water for a long time!!! Maybe someone can suggest a way to get the rotor out???

Earl

soak it in vinegar for an hour

I drilled with soda and vinegar!!! I didn't pour it for an hour!!! I'll try SPS.

It didn't work with vinegar((( Who else has any advice!!

Provide more specifics, does the rotor come out with the shaft, or is the shaft pressed into the housing, is the shaft ceramic or metal, what does it look like externally, is it rusty, has calcium fallen out, salts,,, Vinegar with baking soda produces CO2, H2O, and some sodium acetate, but for the deposited calcium, only vinegar is needed.

The Aqua Medic pump's ceramic shaft is out. It's not clear what has rusted or if something else is wrong.

Then the option with rust is out, put it in warm water until the evening, if that doesn't help, put it in pure vinegar overnight. Good luck.
