These combined lamps are used as additional ones to the non-combined lamps that come with aquariums. Typically, the set includes 1 blue lamp and 1 white lamp, and my combined lamps are designed to replace that 1 white lamp and add blue or purple light... It is not recommended to use them separately as there will be very little blue... P.S. I believe we discussed your light in real-time, and if I remember correctly, you mentioned that blue LEDs would be the base... The LEDs should only be used in blue in combination with these lamps... Also, monitor the levels of nitrates and phosphates in your aquarium to avoid creating a nutrient medium for the growth of lower organisms. P.S. P.S. I apologize to the topic starter for deviating from the subject.

Tracy

We didn't discuss it over the phone. I actually have a homemade lamp that consists only of these two bulbs (I chose them by trial and error since I didn't really understand what, where, which, and how many at the time of ordering). I can't say the bulbs are bad because the softness that was in the aquarium at that time felt great, but the filament algae... was going crazy (possibly due to the large amount of white). P.S. Sorry, I promise not to discuss any more off-topic questions.

Michael826

I must have made a mistake, sorry, I wasn't discussing it with you over the phone. The person was also from Kharkiv.

Courtney4094

We can then move to your topic and discuss the quality of the lamps, which I know from personal experience, having tried the miracle of Chinese light. And who is switching from ATI to Chinese lamps? I have two options: 1. They can't afford it; it's too expensive for their budget. 2. For experimentation (just like I did, thinking why pay more when there's a bargain, but there isn't really a bargain. I bought them for 35, turned them on, turned them off, and sold them for 10, because they were nowhere near the quality of FAUNA or ATI).

Andrew4194

I don't know. I don't have that when I start, and I try to choose only the best and proven, and I agree it's expensive. But at the same time, the aquarium looks different. I don't want to experiment with it; it ends up being very costly later. It needs to be done well, and if it's done poorly, it will turn out badly on its own.

George5104

Replace 1 white with blue. Reduce the working time of the lamps. As I understand it, there is nothing in the aquarium except for the stones? Then you can only turn on a couple of blue ones until the thread algae disappear.

James4757

I would love to see those aquariums in person; I would come to take a look.

Brent8919

and I am ready to come! So Max, take me along. We will shoot a story about how animals are being covered in Sevastopol... I would be happy to visit your breeding facility!

Danny

The topic is becoming more and more interesting...

Tiffany5069

Here we go... When people take Chinese products, they understand they are getting Chinese goods, and the price reflects that... Max, your corals have gotten used to paradise conditions, almost better than on the barrier reef. That's why they didn't like the light from the "Black Sea"... Let's just not mess up the topic, okay? It's a good, useful topic, and here we go again...

Collin

Well, the author of the topic likes it. I suggested a discussion in another thread.

Rick

Can I give you the phone numbers of people who have the same MG 250W and have no problems? Moreover, they have already had their second replacement. Poor people complain to you and keep taking it again... and again, while it seems they are afraid to complain to me.

Nancy

Show me at least a couple of their aquariums, we can discuss them together. So you're not inviting me over, and I guess we won't see any photos? Well, it seems I've only come across a bad marriage with the lamps.

Christopher8654

Off-topic, no, the finale is clear and predictable, we've been through this more than once. Yes, and the Chinese compacts are also in the "fight," while the branded "Arcadia" is hard to get or the price of two will be like the cost of the entire aquarium.

David4968

I completely agree, except for one thing: in Chinese lamps, you get good bulbs, and you also end up with Chinese junk. It has been mentioned multiple times that they don't ignite the bulbs properly and break down quite quickly (depending on luck), and some even start leaking resin directly into the aquarium. We drive cars, spend money on washing and spare parts, mobile communication, and waste a lot of money during holidays, yet when it comes to buying decent bulbs once a year, we hesitate, even though it would make the aquarium look good and give us peace of mind knowing we've done everything to keep it alive and pleasing to the eye.

Nicholas2252

I can't show photos because the aquariums are in Kharkiv, Dnipro, and other cities. I can give you usernames in private if you're interested; just ask for photos. I'm not inviting you over; I don't see the point. I have nothing to explain to you, and there's no point in discussing which lamps are better. If you don't like my lamps, don't buy them; I'm not forcing you. I just reacted to your message regarding the quality of my product and, with my response, showed the topic starter that this is your personal opinion, not a mandatory dogma, and that there are other opinions different from yours. I am closing the discussion about my lamps in this thread.

Chelsea567

It's interesting where LEDs are made. If it's China, then how can you determine a good quality LED?

Shelby3182

The thing is, there’s nothing to show, that’s the problem. In order to promote your product, it needs to be presented as a genuinely tested technique, not an imaginary one. I said that they are just great and growing super well, but where is it? Show me. Where is at least one?

Joyce

To date, no one can probably provide an accurate assessment. Why? There is nothing to compare it to... The development of SD technologies is almost outpacing mobile technologies in speed. It's a sort of half-secret shrouded in half-darkness...

Stephanie9175

I would like to take a look at this aquarium with acres, where 200 sea urchins and 600 snails crawl around; it's clear that nothing grows there since all the urchins eat everything.

Christina9947

Are you kidding me? Those hedgehogs are already sold and forgotten.

Troy8808

I certainly do not want to offend the Great Chinese nation; it is quite possible that Royal Exclusiv is also manufactured in Sichuan province, but the materials are different and the quality control (and thus the price) is different as well. I am sure that China produces many quality goods, but I have not come across them yet (to my regret). Regarding the Black Sea stones, I was not upset, but rather glad; perhaps acroporas will soon grow in Tarkhankut too!

Jose

Winter is very cold and the salinity is quite low, but it would have been possible earlier since they used to grow, only we weren't here yet.

Kristen2246

You didn't mention this. And what is this premium class of acres?

Daniel8015

Off-topic The belief that Chinese goods are of poor quality is an outdated opinion that should be left behind. Look around. Almost everything is from there.

Luis3725

I took the time to dig up some old photos. They show the corals after moving from a 250-liter to a 400-liter aquarium (about a week later). Everything has grown (from small frags) under a SanSan light fixture with 8x39 T5 bulbs and lamps from the same manufacturer, with all the flow pumps being from China... I think I answered the question? Over time, the equipment has changed. Sasha's light fixtures are definitely a step above the Chinese ones, and they can even compete with the German ones (if it weren't for some minor flaws that the manufacturer easily fixes), and of course, ATI lamps are better than SanSan's—no one disputes that—but you can still achieve good results with Chinese equipment.

Janet5447

Well, he got everything the Chinese way!

Alyssa1438

Sure, there are Germans of not the best quality, but to avoid cluttering someone else's topic, I suggest opening a separate thread to discuss specific brands, both Chinese and German. Although these eternal questions have been debated on all forums for many years, such as which is better, Mercedes or Chery.

April3499

Is this what you meant? )))))))) I want to express another thought. China is very diverse. There are already established brands like SanSan, VoYu, Resan, etc. They have been on the market for a long time, and their products meet certain standards to some extent, while there are also unknown brands with unclear origins. When buying so-called "no name" products, everyone is acting at their own risk. As seen from the posts above, even Max sometimes wants to save money...

David3217

Zhenya, it doesn't meet any standards at all, there's not even a guarantee, based on the experience of using pumps from Sanych, Boyu, and other equipment. The so-called Boyu WM-4 wave generator broke down after just 4 months, and it costs almost as much as TUNZE.

Kayla7655

I don't know about these pumps, Igor. But the resins, for example, have served me for two years and have been working for my friend for the same amount of time (my pumps)...

Gene1948

As the topic of discussion about lamps and equipment from China has gained momentum, in order not to clutter someone else's thread "Small Steps to 240L," I have selected the posts and moved them to a separate thread in General Questions.

Holly

I haven't tried these yet. But I've concluded for myself that having a good sea at home is expensive. As for German equipment, I can give an example: I have an EHEIM 2080 working in freshwater, and the Jager heater has been running for four years without any problems. To be completely objective, I also had an EHEIM compressor that failed after six months; when I opened it, I found a very poor-quality assembly inside, with the transformer windings taped up. I replaced it with a German one - the Schego M2K3, and it's been working fine for three years, with no noise or rattling, and you can see how the mechanism operates.

Christopher

Here is a topic I created a while ago about Atman, and I already have about a dozen pumps like that lying in my garage, trying to save money by not buying a brand. It seems like Aquamedica is a brand, but I also broke about three pumps in a year. At the same time, Aquamedica doesn't manufacture them; they also order them from China. So, I learned from my mistakes that it's not cost-effective to buy cheap things; it ends up being more expensive.

Shelby3182

Here is the class answered, yes, and Lyokha too.

Leonard

I don't know where it's made, but I replaced all the return pumps with Eheim, and everything has been fine for two years. The Tunze has also been working well for 2.5 years without any complaints. I have a San San in my frag tanks, and when I turn it off, it doesn't start up again unless I give it a push, but everything is fine with the Coralies, and three of them have been running for about five years.

Natasha

Similarly, I can say about my Chinese foam gun KS 150-6530 that it works quietly and produces very high-quality foam for already four months.

Joseph591

send any ..... we'll have a sparring session with our with anyone from this list we'll measure the air, power consumption you'll be amazed by the difference

Danielle9144

Come on, I'm sure there will be many viewers and fans. When will you start? Only in a new topic.

Marie5348

Well, then we need to add (ATI or Royal) from Airif and "pyramid" from Sasha from St. Petersburg - then at least there won't be another controversy when choosing a pen. - Devil 850 from Tim - 150 on AM2500 OTA - Small pyramid on Deltake - Small ATI (what is it, Laguna? Seems like there is also 2000-2500) ... Yes, that would be interesting, the price and parameters are almost the same.

Wendy8540

we will accept everyone interested photos, videos, measurements... anyone who is interested can come and see...

Amy1672

and all of this can be done in Sevastopol at the farm!!! Of course, it can be done here too, if everyone refuses...

Brandon9634

If you find four identical ones, you can test in Odessa, Kyiv, Crimea, and St. Petersburg at the same time. Even if Igor refuses, it’s not difficult to find a "devil" if desired - he is a serial one, but with the "pennies from Sasha" it’s more difficult.

Martha

Cool topic. It's really interesting to compare Germans, Chinese, and our people. But who will be the judge? A dashcam? And where will this event take place?

Adam4310

Let me be an independent judge. An uninterested party passed by.

Diana7891

I didn't mean DIY foamers, I meant serial branded foamers. But the idea is interesting, I can send it without any problems... just under 2 conditions: 1. when the names of the judges and controllers are known (you understand, a foam ball on air suction and... I will see the light) 2. a serial brand should participate in the competition, preferably Deltec, with similar power. When everything is settled, let me know. I will present a model on two Red Devil pumps, with a total power consumption of 26W, around 1200L/h of air.

Kimberly

Igor won't refuse to send the pen, but finding it elsewhere besides me will be difficult... unless you bring it from abroad.

Brenda

No, better on one, then Sasha will have a similar 150 on AM2500, and he has "twins" on more powerful pumps. That's true.

James8887

All models have been taken from one pump. Only two pumps are left. Sasha has one pump that is similar in parameters to mine on two pumps.

Mark9853

A&C has long ceased to be DIY skimmers and is now produced in series. Moreover, they are available on the market and are direct competitors to all others, ranking well in sales. I agree to any judges. I would be happy if you could come in person. Regarding the model, I think it makes sense to test skimmers with the same body diameters; in this parameter, our models are similar to Delta, ATI, Royal, and I believe also to the Chinese ones. There will be a place for anyone willing and unafraid to join with their brands.

Emily3506

If I am in Odessa, I agree to come to Sasha's store (as an independent person) as an observer and be present during the measurements)))

Natalie

Are you ready to put the cars out for the race? DeltaTech is bored and wants to.

Aaron

Since all penalties for serial production will be based on GOST 44.004-83 and GOST 16504-81, we will conduct periodic tests!

Jeffrey2277

Off-topic, the pumps are generally the same everywhere... Here, the design is what matters...

James5103

I have a foam generator from the Redd Devil pump. This foam generator requires at least a week to reach its working mode: quiet operation, foam formation, so it doesn't release small air bubbles at the skimmer's outlet. In general, there is an "adaptation period" for all foam generators. P.S.: If you organize testing of the foam generators on Saturday, I would come to Odessa.

Jennifer7578

Deltek. I turned it on, and it took off. No adjustment period.

Sarah5423

I had an old skimmer, an Aquamedic Turboflotor 1000, which I bought used, now I have the ADP-900 with a Red Devil pump. I saw a friend's Chinese BM105 in action - it took everyone some time to start producing foam. If Deltec works from the start, that's one of the advantages of a branded skimmer.

Rachel9060

To put it mildly, it's a fairy tale, although sometimes it happens; it all depends on the impurities in the water, not the manufacturer. Any skimmer needs time to reach its mode, usually about a day.

Mitchell3177

I am an uninterested party. The statement is based on the use of models 1250 and 600.

Rebecca1419

H&S - a primitive design, but they work like beasts. The foam starts to hit almost immediately, and they don't care about the water level at all.

Bridget

Question to the moderators - How much longer can we tolerate this user's slander and hostility??? Isn't it time to send him to the bioreef?

Patrick4439

Moderator's response: Off-topic. If he speaks openly, it means he has something to say, and you both know the answer, whether it's slander or not, and why there is hostility from him towards you, which is well known to both of you. And the main thing is, why didn't you resolve this amicably? You are from the same place, you met and could have settled things. Or is that difficult and impossible? And why send him away? He is just as much a forum member as everyone else and has the full right to express his opinion without violating the forum rules.

Theresa5149

This is not true! He arrived without any arrangements and was warmly welcomed... just as we always welcome him here... However, in another store, a similar situation occurred with kissing the door... But this case remains on the conscience of the owner of the large store... The "Chinese" production of Deltek is in the city of Delmenhorst, northern Germany. I am not familiar with the production of Grotek, but if they claim it is made in Germany, they can be trusted.

William1830

It's hard in the village without a Nagant!!!! They said in Russian - in China!!! If German companies Sera, Tetra, and GBL produce part of their products in China and Poland - that's normal... If something is written on the fence - everyone already knows the truth. And if it's about Deltek.... Don't you know many websites, business cards, and manufacturers where photos are posted to enhance the image of companies? Call me, I will provide details about Deltek, in particular. About their pumps, electronics, components,... and other matters.

Amber9312

Write down the layouts for me here!!! And I'll show them... let them read it. By the way, they have a lot of Russian-speaking people working there.

Crystal

I heard, I was told... this kind of communication on the forum. Thank you for the informative discussion. ...another flood.

Ricky9405

Offtopic BMW and HTC As for Deltek, they are located about 200 km from me and are working there. But that doesn't mean they produce 100% of their products in Germany. And even if they do it in China, they will still implement quality control there, as they are Germans and their reputation is important to them.
