• Fish for tanks up to 100 liters (not a format)

  • Laura3615

I suggest we talk a bit and share experiences and ideas about what fish could be kept in tanks up to 100 liters. "Non-standard" fish are welcome (clownfish are not being discussed at all). Even if you don't have a tank up to 100 liters or any fish, feel free to mention the most exotic fish of any shapes and colors. We will collectively search for information about them and determine whether they are suitable for tanks up to 100 liters or over 100 liters.

Plectranthias inermis has been living in our species aquarium for about six months now, exhibiting very interesting behavior. We rarely see this fish; it mostly comes into view in the evening, but it is not skittish. I think it would be quite suitable for a small aquarium.

What do you say about the boxfish - Ostracion cubicus? How fast do they grow? I once asked a question: I saw a fish in a store, in a mini tank (about 60 liters), red in color, resembling Chaetodermis penicilligera, but it wasn't that, and it was red, seemingly walking on the rocks rather than swimming... Does anyone know what kind of wonder that is?

It grows quickly and can reach up to 45 cm, definitely not for nanos. I think this wonder is Antennarius maculatus. It's probably one of my favorite fish. The volume is not particularly important for it; the main thing is proper feeding with live food.

Yes, yes, yes!!!! IT'S HER!!!! Hooray-hooray-hooray!!! After 4 months, she has been found!!! I'll buy the beer! Now I just need to find where to get it.

Bavarian beer Sometimes we have it on offer, but the fish is not cheap. They brought in one like in the photo, and it devoured a catfish that was bigger than itself (antennarius).

Denis, can you tell me more about the fish? Feeding, keeping it with other fish?

Oh... it's a pity that I can't really keep a anglerfish with anyone... it will eat the shrimp, and the little fish are also at great risk... it's a beautiful creature, but I probably won't have enough with just it? Or can I still add someone to its 54 liters?
