• Recommend a light for an algae tank.

Good day everyone! I noticed that caulerpa and chaetomorpha are hardly growing in the algae tank. I think the problem is with the lighting. Right now, there is a spotlight for a halogen lamp with an energy-saving bulb of 28 W. I would like to ask for advice on how to organize lighting for optimal growth of higher algae. The dimensions of the algae tank are 35x35 cm, with a water column of 15 cm. Thank you!

Rick

Please share information about what light you have in your algae tanks and how the algae are growing.

I support that. I'm setting up an aquarium and really need advice on lighting for a planted tank.

Did you remember about Ambulia, Ludwigia, Nymphaea, Pistia, Cryptocoryne, and Duckweed in the freshwater? Esteemed, this is a marine branch.

I am installing an LED for myself - one star with three Cree, two white and one red, 9 watts in total, plus a 90-degree collimator - to penetrate as deep as possible.
