• Which pen to choose?

I'm building a 390-liter system and I don't know which foam generator to choose with a budget of 1500. I love living creatures, so I need to take at least double the volume into account and it shouldn't be too noisy!

The one I had from Vitaly was very noisy - but he was hitting like crazy, managing to get something out of thin air.

A good foam maker cannot be made with a slow pump. Although you can ask Vitaly, and he will install some cool branded pump, but they cost 2500-3000. The budget for the ENTIRE foam maker in the task conditions was 1500.

New Jet is very quiet and 3000 l.h. costs 800. The second question is to make a silencer - which I did - I think Vitala has already started equipping his pens with them.

And how did it behave when the aquarium was fully loaded? Did you have it on one pump of 3000 l/h or on two?

If I'm not mistaken, the pump was 3500 - I sold it to our Kipo because its size was inconvenient for my sump-cabinet - otherwise, I wouldn't have sold it - after modifications and consultations with Vitala, I was very satisfied with it. At full load, I mean, it was blowing like crazy, the next skimmer was a pathetic echo of Vitala's, but quiet.

I wrote that the sizes were not comfortable for me, so I took a smaller and quieter one.
