Hello! After a trial launch of the mini-nano (the topic has not been updated for a long time), I realized that I want a larger sea! I want to convert my freshwater aquarium (TM "Nature" 220l) into a marine one, but since the external filters (2 pcs.), UV and other equipment from the freshwater aquarium remain, I want to know your opinion on using them in such a scheme: Step by step: - Filter 1 (filled, for example, with live rock, chemistry) takes water from the aquarium and supplies it to the SUMP (to the skimmer), that is, it will perform the function of the overflow; - Filter 2 (filled, for example, with live rock, chemistry) takes water from the SUMP and through the UV raises it back to the aquarium, that is, it will perform the function of the return pump. Thus, it will not be necessary to drill the aquarium, make an overflow (or buy one) and all the "parts" from the freshwater aquarium will be used! P.S. Replacing filter 2 with a pump is possible. P.P.S. Probably similar ideas have already been discussed, if so, please excuse the repetition and provide a link to such a topic. Please express your opinion!
